From the Madrid Airport to Seville
By plane: Madrid-Seville
By train: Renfe AVE (Alta Velocidad Española). It is one of the train services offered by Renfe and it is the high-speed train, which is the most popular train in Spain. This train takes less than three hours from Madrid to Seville.
Jerez Airport is connected with Seville by the Seville-Cádiz mid-distance train service.
Estimated journey time to Seville: 1 hour and 3 minutes.

From the Seville airport to the city centre
Bus airport – Airport Special Line EA (Línea especial aeropuerto EA): travel by bus from the Airport of Seville to the centre of the city where all the above-mentioned hotels are located. There are several busses each hour leaving from the airport. See more detailed bus schedule in the link. The price of the airport bus single ticket is 4 € and the ticket can be bought directly from the driver. The journey takes about 30 minutes depending on the traffic, and the bus stop is located outside the arrivals terminal.
Taxi airport – Radio Taxi: travel by taxi from the Airport of Seville to the hotel is approx. 25 € and the journey takes about 30 minutes. The taxi stop is just outside of the terminal.

From the Train Station to the city centre
Seville Train Station
Station in Sevilla of Renfe AVE is Santa Justa, that is located in the center of the city, in Av. Kansas City (41008, Seville).
From the Santa Justa Station it is easy and comfortable to travel to the hotel by bus or by taxi.
During the Summer School
Recommended mode of transportation: Bus
- Single ticket bought in cash in the bus without transfer / change of bus inside the city costs 1,40 €.
- It is recommended to buy a bus card for 7 € that includes 10 bus travels.

The bus card can be bought and recharged in:
Information desks at Prado de San Sebastián (bus and metro station at Plaza San Sebastian), and Plaza Ponce de León, and in over 900 other places throughout Seville for example in tobacco shops (estanco), kiosks, and any other establishments with the “Tussam Bono” sign (Tussam Bono – aquí venta y recarga).
The card can be recharged at any point with or without the transfer / change of bus option.

How to arrive by bus
The street Avda. Reina Mercedes goes through the campus of the University of Seville. There are several bus stops (one outside of School of Architecture, other one outside of Engineering School, and one in the Glorieta Alcalde Parias Merry). The preferred bus stop is located just outside of the faculty building of Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática.

One option for moving around is a rental of city bikes http://en.sevici.es/Subscriptions/Rental-Rates There is a bike stop just outside of the faculty building of Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática and the first 30 minutes of the bike rental is for free. However, there is a registration fee for the bikes (short-term subscription) 13,33 € and with the insurance 14,33 €.
Visa procedures to come to Seville will depend on your nationality. Spain is part of the European Union and the free movement of European citizens, and is also in the Schengen area. So for those of you who will need a visa for coming, the normal Schengen visa requirements apply.
